Personality: Urianger is, first and foremost, a scholar. He has spent far more time with his head shoved up a library than anywhere else and it is often painfully evident, the most obvious of which is his speech pattern and ease in which he can understand and explain complicated theoretical matters. His drive to learn everything he can about things often leads to him coming off as stuffy and has been noted as being found intimidating. While his main area of study was prophecy, he is also fairly well versed in other eorzean academic areas from history to politics and more. He has the nigh insatiable curiosity of a born academic, and if someone is willing to either learn to sift through his unique way with words or let someone else translate for them Urianger is a veritable fount of information and theoretical discussions.

While he is more than willing to share his knowledge at length with those he is allied with, Urianger is almost remarkably private about his personal life even with those whom he considers to be close friends. When it comes to matters about himself he will often deflect and is rather easily flustered by teasing about it. This was, sadly, most evident during his childhood friend Moenbryda's time with the Scions, as whenever anyone brought up the fact that she constantly flirted with him he swiftly redirected conversation back to whatever matter was at hand.

Urianger's habits of secrecy and fondness for information make him a perhaps unusual but strangely effective double agent and spy. He does not, however, enjoy the act of lying or manipulating those he trusts despite his willingness to do so in order to protect a greater good or further a noble cause. He is swift to come clean when it matters, preferring honesty and asking forgiveness than trying to justify when he has been forced to do so.

Even with his eccentricities, Urianger has a soft heart and a genuine fondness for the world and people around him. He is generally friendly and kind, and will go out of his way to offer reassurance and support to those who need it. Moenbryda's death as well as his time with the fae in Il Mheg has, to a degree, driven him to leave his shell a bit and actually act as opposed to sitting in the background holding down the fort. He has a surprisingly good sense of humor, especially when it comes to people assuming things about him or being willing to entertain the sillier games of others. He did, in fact, stay up for eight days straight trading riddles with the pixies for his home and managed to trick them in to providing him with his preferred tea and snacks by convincing them that he hated them.

All said and done, Urianger is a devoted academic and fiercely loyal friend who will happily put himself in to terrible situations to defend what he believes in.

As an elezen, Urianger is seven feet tall with pointed ears and a lithe build. He has grey hair and pale gold eyes, He has a dark purple (near black) tattoo on his left cheek that looks a bit like a backwards R.

How Do You Think They'll React to Being In Parthas? While likely awkward as hell at first with the actualities of sex with basically strangers, Urianger's academic nature and willingness to help save a world would win out over his relative lack of practical experience. His desire for knowledge would have him generally willing to experiment with various acts and encounters.

His star globe (the 'Antiquated Atlas' model seems to be the one he uses) and cards used as an Astrologian for both magic and eorzian tarot reading.

A piece of fine amber, used to summon his carbuncle as a Lithomancer. (He will need to rewrite the grimoire to summon it and use those skills, something that will take a couple IC months to do at the least.)

Elezen Physiology: while very close to human, elezen in general are much taller with pointy ears and have a longer natural lifespan than humans. Wildwood elezen, which Urianger is have especially keen eyesight.

Astrologian: a school of magic hailing from Urianger's homeland, astrologians are predominantly healers who utilize the magic of the stars, constellations, and other heavenly bodies to manipulate fate itself to aid those around them. Urianger's study of this field took place over the years he was in the fae lands of the First, and he has mastered the art of it. While his card readings may or may not be utterly accurate, his magical skill is strong.

As a healer he is capeable of granting temporary regeneration as well as more instantaneous bursts of healing magic. He's also capeable of erecting temporary barriers against damage, though they are either short lived or require him to remain motionless to do so.

It's also really pretty.

Lithomancer: effectively a summoner though only drawing forth a carbuncle, Urianger's capeable of utilizing mathematics and geometry written in a grimoire to channel magic for more offensive means or to manipulate the six elements (fire, water, lightning, ice, wind, earth). Mostly, it means he has a cute glowing yellow pet to be an icebreaker at will once he has the math of it written down.

Miscellaneous: Urianger speaks a number of languages. He also can walk on water if he can maintain concentration.

OOC Note: Astrologian and Lithomancer are technically teachable by Urianger, but it wouldn't be quick or easy.
